Each September, The 529 Network celebrates College Savings Month as part of its national outreach to raise awareness about the value of a 529 plan for families. Timed with the back-to-school season, the campaign connects the excitement of a new academic year with the importance of planning ahead for future education expenses. Throughout the month, The 529 Network and state 529 plans share resources, tools, and stories that help families understand how to start saving early and consistently. By aligning with back-to-school momentum, College Savings Month reinforces the message that investing in a child’s education begins long before college applications are due.
